The Seal of Rassilon

Something a little random now.

I picked up a nice little Gallifreyan style keyring from a show a couple of weeks ago. So with the help of a little bit of Instamold and Greenstuff I came up with this little beauty.

Original keyring and the greenstuff result of the press-mold

And then with the addition of some black and gold paint I ended up with this result.

Seal of Rassilon

All I need to decide now is how to use it. Do I try for a new set of bases for my Dr Who miniatures (its approximately the same size as a 40mm base) or maybe even try for a 8th Doctor Tardis Console room interior.

The jury is still out at the moment :)

Random Movie Madness 1

A little movie fun this time from the RAFM USX Modern Day Heroes range.

First off their Asp, Assassin mini as The Bride from Kill Bill (aka Beatrix Kiddo)

Next up is their Harold Smith mini as William Foster from Falling Down.

A couple of pics of them together.

Open All Hours

Couldn't resist this set of minis from recreational conflict.

The set consists of four Civilians - Mr. Wainwright (the corner shop owner), Trevor (the errand boy), Mavis (the nurse) and Joseph (the Chemist).

Purely by coincidence, three of the minis are dead ringers for a certain tv show from the 70s and 80s called "Open All Hours" :)

Nurse Gladys Emmanuel

The fourth mini is apparently based on the likeness of the sculptor's father.
