Paint it black

Well after a good start with the Hand of Omega scratch build i thought I'd ease myself back into the painting  little.

I had a few Master minis left that I hadnt painted up before so they were next on my list.

The faces of the master to date.

And what goods a Master without his TARDIS? In this case its in the form of Melkur from The Keeper of Traken
And then when I couldn't find  a TARDIS for the 1st Master, well i just had to make my own didnt I?

The Hand of Omega

So after a little work with Evergreen Styrene sheet (and a lot of eye strain) this is the result. My own little Hand of Omega.

And for a sense of scale - enter the daleks!

A new start

I've been a bit out of practice at painting 28mm miniatures for a few years now but just recently I found some old harlequin doctor who miniatures which soon got me hooked once more.

One of the things I soon realised again was there were a few of my "wish list" minis that i couldn't find alternatives for, so what better excuse to flex my model making and see what i could come up with.

Top of my list? The Hand of Omega - the remote stellar manipulator invented by Omega, and used by the Doctor against the Daleks in the TV episode Remembrance of the Daleks.

Unfortunately the only reference picture i could find easily was this. But i wasn't going to let that stop me!
